What a amzg question.......

machaan: So the main causes of the fact that water is wet, is its wetting properties determined by a force balance between adhesive and cohesive forces over the skin. Mercury, although is a liquid, will not "wet" you because it has a strong cohesive force that doesn't permit the molecules to get in touch with the sensory cells
sekhonsaab17: Also because of gravity..The surface tension also plays an important role in it..Check the video of an astronaut wringing out a water soaked cloth ..Its quite fascinating
DjManan: k i ll see it
Naina241: but this question was really very nice
Naina241: i like it
DjManan: thanks

water (H2O) is wet because it is surrounded by its self.
