when the water is aprender on the rooftops of houses , the latent heat in the roof is absorbed by water and it gets evaporated. as a result the rood remains cool

water is spread on the rooftop of houses in summer because the water which is sprinkled on the rooftop absorbs the heat on the rooftop and evaporates quickly which causes the rooftop to cool.....and by cooling the roof looses it's heat.
