cuz d surfase area of sauser is grater than of d cup. nd we no that d grater d surfase area, d grater d rate of evaporation. i.e evaporation tuk faster in sauser nd we r able to ship hot milk/tee in a sauser faster rader than a smoll cup.

We are able to do so because the surface area in a saucer is greater and therefore allows the tea or milk to cool down faster than that in a cup.
