When you suck through the straw, the air in the straw comes into your mouth. So there is no air in straw meaning there is 0 pressure in the straw. ... One is a vacuum created in your mouth cavity by sucking in air. The external atmospheric pressure forces the liquid up the straw.

The Air in straw have hollow and have Air inside the straw so due to air pressure we are able to suck and in fact the atmospheric pressure is pushing the liquid in upward direction to our throat through the hollow pipes. whenever we suck from the straw, in the pipe there is less air that pushes the water outside. This also leads to be more water can come out of it.
