why we are calculating the all day efficiency of the distribution transfromer and power efficiency of power transformer?

because we are finding the amount of each hours...
i.e kwh(h=time ×how many day)

Suppose you have a bike and it consumes 2ltrs petrol.
and you know how far your bike goes.
Consider 2ltrs = 6K.M
so this predicated that you have esstimation to calculate efficiency of bike.
same in transformer and engines.
