why we breath only oxygen, why not nitrogen?

Answer:

We inhale nitrogen and other gases also. But in lungs alveoli where the gasses are exchanged only O2 will be take…. because in RBC haemoglobin is present and haemoglobin can only make bond woth oxygen so instead of other gasses we can take only oxygen..
