Why we call india a secular state

We call India as a secular state bcoz it has no official religion . Every Indian citizen has the right to follow any religion . They can profess , practice and propagate any religion they wish . ✌

India is secular because it follows democracy and thus every citizen has the right to follow or practice their own beliefs. Their is no gender , caste , colour or creed discrimination encouraged and thus it is secular
