We not only call xylem as a conductive tissue but we also include PHLOEM in conducting tissue

Xylem helps to transport water and minerals to the plant so we call it as conducting tissue.
CONDUCTING TISSUES ARE THE TISSUES WHICH HELP IN TRANSPORT OR CONDUCTION OF FOOD , WATER AND MINERALS .So WE CALL THEM AS CONDUCTING TISSUES.

XYLEM AND PHLOEM ARE TOGETHER CALLED AS VASCULAR BUNDLES OF PLANTS.
