Why we can not see moon every day at the same shape ?

The moon revolves around the earth. The shadow of the earth falls on the moon and we see different shapes of the moon. These shapes of the moon is known as phases of the moon. It starts from full moon then gibbous moon, half moon, crescent moon and then new moon; and then from new moon to full moon.

Answer:- When the moon is between earth and the sun,the lit side is hidden from us. as 8y side comes into view. Then it begins to disappear again.
