why we can see the rainbow ????

Anonymous: we can see rainbow because of the sun reflect the drops of rain and it show their all colors
Saatvik6565: These answers are incomplete
Saatvik6565: Light is made up of different wavelengths and frequencies. When they travel in air or space the speed of all colours of light is same but in a medium such as water, the speed of different colours of light is different. So when they enter from air to water then some colours refract more than others. Due to this, we can see a continuous spectrum of different colours of light.

Answer:

Sunlight is made up of many wavelengths—or colors—of light. ... So when the light exits the water droplet, it is separated into all its wavelengths. The light reflecting back to you, the observer with the Sunlight coming from behind you, from the water droplets will appear separated into all the colors of the rainbow!
