why we can't hear ultrasonic sound eventhough it is above 20,000Hz

Audible range for human at which our human can hear and respond to a sound is 20hertz-20000hertz.Ultrasound have a frquency of above 20000hertz which is above the range of hearing for humans due to which we cant hear ultrasounds.

we cannot hear sound below 20Hz and above 20,000Hz.even though the ultrasonic sound above 20000 Hz.so we cannot hear it......
