why we can't see our own eye

We see things when the light fall on them and then reflect , enter in our eyes and image form on retina but when light fall on our own eyes it not reflect inside but out side of our eye .
This is the reason why we can't see our own eyes .

Shardul123: So are our eyes reflecting surface or transperant as we can see others eyes
