actually it forms its shadow but if it flies too high it forms soo diminished shadow so we can not see it randemly

the shadow of a bird flying high in the sky not seen on the ground because the sun is wide enough that the light from it can pass around the sides of bird . .if an object search as aeroplane is large enough to completely block the sun from a point on the ground then we will see a shadow here technically there is still a starter because the bird will block some of the light but it
won't be enough to notice
