because there are no particles/molecules in space since it is vacuum for sound to travel.

Sound is a disturbance across a medium propagating as a pressure wave i.e it requires some medium to cause compression and rarefactions of the particles of the medium to move forward.

In space there are no mediums for propagation of the waves and so you can scream as much as you want and no one will ever hear you.
