why we cannot bend our arms if a light wooden plank is tied to it

Because it doesn't allow our muscle to bend as it doesn't have any joint and is just one piece of wood. Hope it helps and pls mark as the best answer. :-)

It does not allow the muscle to bend. Because there is not joint for the wooden plank.as t does'nt have a joint to bend it does not allow our hand to bend
