why we cannot grow rice in the desert​

because rice needs much quantity of water and in desert there plenty of water.

and rice cannot grow on sandy soil.

Answer:

we cannot grow rice in desert as rice requies high amount of water supply and a hot and humid climate ,it also requires clayey soil for irrigation which is not available in the desert
