Answer:

We can have as many terms of the same variable in a linear polynomial. the degree and the variable should not change , that is the concept

Step-by-step explanation:

a linear polynomial is of the form ax+b

what you are saying can be simplified to 5y+3 , and that is the correct form of usage

Answer:

Linear polynomial can many number of terms but the degree matters.

Step-by-step explanation:

Linear polynomial : A polynomial with degree 1. number of terms does not matter.

Monomial : A polynomial with only 1 term. degree does not matter.

linear polynomial Example: x+1, where x has a degree of 1.

Monomial Example : 3x^2
