Because these have only 3 carbons. ..and it can not be arranged in branch. ..that's the main reason

The first 3 members of the alkane family are methane , ethane and propane and these have just 1,2,3 carbon molecules respectively.
Isomerism is the ability of carbon atoms to have different structures for the same chemical formula.
But we cannot draw different structures with 1,2,3 carbon atoms.
Methane is just C.
Ethane is just C-C.
Propane is just C-C-C.
There can't be much branches.
