India is a country of festivals and here all festivals are celebrated with great fanfare. Chhath Puja is one of the main festivals of Hindus. Mainly this festival is celebrated in Bihar but it has slowly been celebrated in all parts of India and apart from it it is celebrated abroad also. This festival is celebrated especially on the Shukla side of the Kartik month. This is a four-day festival which begins with Chaturthi and Saptami has its last day. This festival is associated with Sun God. At this festival women keep a fast for their husbands long life and children to get happiness.
There are many ancient stories related to this festival, of which there is a Ramayana period, then there is no Mahabharata period. This festival is celebrated only after Diwali with great enthusiasm. On the first day of Chhath puja, women eat gram dal, Loki's vegetable and roti etc. The other day, he only buys jaggery at night, which is called Kharena. On the third day i.e. on the sixth day, she keeps a nirjal vrat and according to her wish, Prasad of 11, 21 or 51 fruits binds it into a bamboo dal and gives it to her husband or son and goes towards the river. On the way, women sing the sixth mother's song on the way. By reaching the river on the river, worshiping Pandit gives sun to the sun while dipping in the evening with raw milk. By rising next day, the sun is also given with raw milk, and then it breaks its fast. After Chhath Pooja, all people are very happy and there is a lot like Diwali.
