Why we consider Infinity not a number?

Just wanna make things clear, I don't ask a question to get spam answers or Googled answers, I just want to know your views for a specific problem.

A User named Something like Old Gobbo is giving me Googled Answers with addition of weird fonts. Don't answer my questions just for getting points, I can't report you everytime.​

infinity have no difined value. number are those who have difined value that does not vary ..that is why we cant consider infinity as a number

Well , I am not sure . I have always been a perplexed person with several ideas bombarding my mind at once . So , back to ur question . I do think infinity is a number because just like zero ( which is a number ) cannot be divided by itself I.e. zero , infinity also cannot be divided by itself . But then again infinity may not be a number because according to a property in maths infinity + 1 will always be equal to infinity . But we dont say 1 + 1 is always equal to one . So , this changes infinity into something which is not a number . But what if the whole idea of infinity is wrong ? I am more confused than I already was , all thanks to ur question . U asked a pretty interesting question though . But tbh , I am more of a metaphysics sort of person than a mathematics lover .

My question to you - Do you think insanity might be a sign of being a genius ? I say this because many great people have delved deeper into this topic , including Edgar Allen Poe ( I just love his poems ) .

I dont know whether this is a spam answer or not , but I have typed whatever that came to my mind in the fear of forgetting it the next sec . U can answer my questions either through posting it as a question or by writing it as an answer to my previous questions . Of course u dont need to answer if u dont want to .

Who knows ?? maybe you r the only one with a thing for maths ... I dont hate it , but I dont like it either . But I do love literature ( gothic ) and philosophy .
