Answer:

We do not feel the heat of the twinkling stars because they are very far from us and the energy generated by them is lost in surrounding or is absorbed by the surrounding medium.

Answer:

It is because stars (other than our Sun) are very, very far away from us and the heat energy generated by them is lost to the surroundings via absorption in the surrounding medium. But we can see light emitted by stars unless there is some blocking medium in between such as dust clouds.
