Why we don't get heard when we cut our hair & nails????

That's because there are no nerve endings in the hair shaft. Nor is there any blood supply. The blood is supplied to the roots of hair. So, when you pull hair, you feel pain. But not when they are cut.

Same is the case of our nails. We don't feel pain while cutting nails. But we do feel lot of pain when it's root is touched.
