Answer:

A set remains the same if its elements are allegedly repeated or rearranged. As such, the programming languages I know would not put an element into a set if the element already belongs to it, or they would replace it if it already exists, but would never allow a duplication.

Actually that's an interesting question!

But if we think about that, the only reason that we can say is that,

THAT IS BECAUSE, THAT'S HOW A SET IS DEFINED.

And if we think that's more useful also, as repeating the same elements is not worth the work.

The main thing that we have to think about in these questions is that, it a statement that says,

MAN IS ALWAYS LAZY AND HAS TO DO HIS TASK IN THE LEAST TIME!

And for a more living example we can think,

Imagine,

You are on a holiday trip with your friends named Rahul, Ramesh and Gokul.

And you are saying, as Rahul haven't enjoyed this trip as compared to the other, on the next trip you will be taking Rahul ,Rahul Ramesh and Gokul with you and that makes no SENSE!

OR

Let's say you have two gang of friends, and one of them is in both the gang. Your teacher asks you to get the names of the persons from both the gang. Will you repeat the name of the friend that's common to both the gangs? DEFINITELY NOT!

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU!
