why we fall in forward direction when bus driver suddenly aplies break in bus
Answers
We fall in forward direction when brake is applied cause when the vehicle is in motion, it stores a kind of force in it which is known as momentum (MOMENTUM=MASS×VELOCITY).
And that momentum depends upon the speed of the vehicle and it's mass.
When brake is applied, there is Newton's first law of motion which says that any object remains in the same state of motion or rest until & unless any external force is not applied. So, when he pushes up the brakes, the object (vehicle) in motion suffers with the external force of braked which producers friction n' vehicle stops so, you fall forward cause your body with the vehicle wants to be in the same state of motion & there friction disturbs it!
Hope it helped!
The passengers in a bus tend to fall backward when it starts suddenly due to inertia as the passengers tend to remain in the state of rest while the bus starts to move. When the bus stops suddenly, people fall forward because their inertia as they are in state of motion even when the bus has come to rest.
