Why we have different depths and distribution of earthquake in different tyoes of plate boundaries?

The reason is because, there are different types of plate boundaries namely the Divergent (when two plates moves apart) plate boundary, the convergent(when two plates collide)plate boundary and the Transform( when two plates grind past each other like shearing of cards) plate boundary. So since these 3 plates boundaries have different plate movement their depths and distribution will also be different
