Why we need a measurement? (Physics Question)

Hey MATE!

Measurement is the basic requirement for building every great monument and even your Home - sweet - home.

If it was built without any measurements and calculations then the results would have been terrific.

Not only this, the means of transportation are all a consequence of developing in the field of measurement.

So I don't feel the requirement to tell you why this small topic is so important in our day-to-day life.

what is measurement ?

the assignment of a number to a characteristic of an object or event, which can be compared with other objects or events.

or simply we can say that the action of measuring something .

OK ,,, let's think why do we need measurement :-

I'm giving my views about this :-

Well, we measure because we need to know if a desk will fit through the door, for example. But we can just try to get the desk through the door without measuring. ... Need for units: Mostly the purpose to measure any given quantity is to communicate or record that information.
