Voters might vote for an individual, or they might vote for a political party (party list). This is because different countries use different voting systems. Election is very important to keep a democratic country functioning as it gives people the right to select their own government !

India is a democratic country which works on the Principle of Government of people and by the people and for the making this Principle in reality we just need to election procedure that is done by the public of India.
