Why we not allowed toadd water in concentration acid to make him dilute acid?

Answer: because it produces a lot of heat when acid is diluted. When we add water to concentrated acid water may boil and also acid may splash out that is dangerous.

But when acid is added to water it is less vigourous process because less acid come in contact with more water. So less heat is produced that is not dangerous.
