Why we not cut vegetable by blunt knife

this is because the surface area is more and d counter area is more ,so we r nt able to cut the veggis ...that's why we use sharp knife

Hello!
A blunt Knife has more area comparatively to the sharp knife. And as we know-
Pressure is inversely proportional to the area, thus if the area will be more, pressure will be less and vegetables/or anything will not be cut , which is un-desirable.
While a sharp knife has less area, and thus pressure will be more and we can cut the vegetables/fruits etc easily, which is desirable.
