We pay attention to alternative and nonconventional source of energy because these sources are provided to us by nature and don't affect or degrade the environment.

These sources are also called as the renewable source of energy, which means that these energy sources are easily available and easily get replenished. Unlike the nonrenewable source of energy, these sources don't extinguish and don't take millions of years to form.

The example of these sources are wind energy, solar energy, tidal energy, etc.
