why we prefer to grow leguminous crop after the cultivation of non leguminous crop or vice versa

Becoz leguminous crops have RHIZOBIUM bacterias in its root nodules. This bacteria has an ability to convert the atmospheric nitrogen into nitrogenous compounds which gets mixed in the soil by the bacteria. These plants make the soil rich in NITROGEN . After the leguminous plants are harvested also , the farmers leave the roots of the plants to be decomposed as they again make the soil rich in NITROGEN which is very important for plant ...
