The values written in the end of numbers because the face value is not seen in it. The place value is always taken into consideration by the mathematicians.

zero doesn't have a value when it is the only digit in the entire series of number. but whenever it is put after ANY number it does add up to the value of the number. so zero has different roles to when it is put (i) separately and singularly and (ii) after some digit (any digit but zero itself)
