Answer:

To learn our history is to learn our roots. It is our duty to know what we came from. The struggle for evolution has not been kind to mankind and took plenty of time. After centuries of heinous effort, the world we see today was created. Each country had its own difficulties, being an Indian and assuming you are an Indian, India had a very long path to freedom, from which we can learn a lot. India had been at its heights economically before European trade entered India, but later was exploited and robbed by other European countries, which slowly narrowed down to Britain. India did get freedom after a long fight, and also learned a lot during this time, but was left in a very bad condition. In spite of all this, we built upon the remains of what was once a prosperous happy land a country which was a billion times more prosperous and happy.
