Potassium Hydroxide is most suited for Mohl’s Half Leaf experiment , because KOH readily absorbs Carbon Dioxide from surrounding and forms Potassium carbonate and water, hence creates absence of CO2 for the plant to take in and gives the best results of the experiment .
