We should not throw plastic bags on road. Let's see why.
Suppose, you threw a plastic bag on the road where the cows and other animals sometimes graze. They don't know that this is plastic. They will eat it, misunderstanding that this is food. Because of the plastic, suffocation will take place in their bodies and soon death.
The other reason is that plastic releases harmful gases which pollutes a lot.

Plastic waste is one of many types of wastes that take too long to decompose. Normally, plastic items can take up to 1000 years to decompose in landfills. But plastic bags we use in our everyday life take 10-1000 years to decompose, while plastic bottles can take 450 years or more.
Therefore throwing them ANYWHERE except the place where plastic can be recycled or any plastic pollution can be prevented.
Throwing it in the water will harm the organisms living in it by blocking the top layer of water and preventing the Oxygen supply.
By throwing it on the roadside will affect the stray animals.....
