Why we use aziotropic distillaation for methyl ethyl ketone and water separation?

Our invention is concerned with the removal of water from methyl ethyl ketoneaqueous mixtures by means of distillationunder increased pressure. We have found that the composition of the ketone-waterbinary azeotrope distillate varies with the pressure on the distillation system.
