However, keep in mind that when aniline is dissolved in acetic acid (even without acetic anhydride), a reaction will occur between the two to generate anilinium acetate and heat will be released. So, if you are planning to do this reaction in acetic acid, be aware that the solution will get hot as that reaction occurs even before you add acetic anhydride.
