why we use soft iron core wounded coil in generator since there is no use of increasing magnetic field in armature coil?​

Answer:

instead of air if we place soft iron core inside the coil, the magnetic flux change through the coil will be stronger and the emf hence the current generated subsequently will be stronger in the coil.
