6 is the carbons atomic number.Atomic mass is usually twice the atomic number. So An element with atomic number X will have an atomic mass 2X ( more or less) but not X
Elements like Oxygen ( Atomic number is 8 and atomic mass is 16)
Nitrogen ( AtN is 7,AtM is 14)
Sodium(ATN IS 11,ATM IS 22)
MAGNESIUM (ATN IS 12,ATM IS 24)
