why we write....{distance = average valocity × time}

The answer is given below :

VELOCITY :

Velocity is the rate of change of distance with respect to time.

Let, velocity = v unit/s,
distance = d units and
time = t seconds

Then,

Average velocity = distance/time

⇒ v = d/s

⇒ d = v × s

⇒ distance = average velocity × time

This is how the formula is obtained.

Using this formula, putting the values of any two, we can obtain the value of the other one.
