India has world-class production in spinning, but weaving supplies low quality of fabric as it cannot use much of the high quality yarn produced in the country. Weaving is done by handloom, powerloom in mills.

⍟︎ The weaving is decentralized in india so that the incorporation of design and traditional skill would be possible as regard to silk, zari etc.

⍟︎ This is because by doing the scope of waving can be increase and thus to product the employment in it.

⍟︎ Mismatch is a major downside. The factories are also facing problems of intermittent power supply which decreases the productivity of labor.

⍟︎ It has been localized due to factors like availability of raw cotton, labour, market and transport.

⍟︎ But spinning is centralized in

Maharashtra, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu.
