\mathbb{\pink{\huge{Hello\:Mate!!}}}

The weight of an object on the earth is a form with which the earth attract the object.

In the same way the weight of an object on the moon is the force with which the moon attract object .

The mass of the moon is less than that mass of Earth .

Due to this moon exerts less force of attraction on object.

Heya..

Ques :- Why weight of an object on moon is not similar to the earth. ??

Ans :-

• Weight of an object is that with force if attraction the earth push it toward itself...

• And on moon that force of attraction would be applied by moon...

• And the mass of the Moon is less than the mass of earth...

• So, weight on earth is more than the weight on moon...

• The moon's gravity is 1/6 of earth's gravity ,, so our weight is 1/6th less on moon than the earth...

Thank you
