There’s nothing fair in war. It’s for himself, if he is in the good or evil camp. It was simply a case in which the correct countries joined the correct camp, therefore making the Allied powers have an advantage in the war.
The real turning point in the war was the Attack on Pearl Harbour (1941). The US at that time was rocking hard in terms of manpower and military capacity. Japan’s uncalled for attack simply made the Axis power lose. If the Japanese had waited more until Germany had invaded the Soviet Union and UK, the Axis power will have an advantage over the US.
Then, you have the Soviet Union, which showed Hitler’s flawfull command. He forgot about Russian winters and he was too committed into invading Russia. He disagreed with his own generals and field marshals and he dismissed the idea of retreat. It’s either push or die. Germany in particular was also particular about quality that their war machines took a long time to assemble and their dependence on oil which they clearly lacked was also another flaw that they had.
All I can say is indeed, the Allied powers was much more powerful after 1941 and the poor decisions by Axis countries like Nazi Germany and Japan made it so as well
