Europe's Economy was on the verge of declination.
All trade practises were at halt.
people were in misery.
There own motherland was under the burden of levied taxes, funds.
Most of the Agricultural land were in the hands of Higher Lords & Staff because farmers had mortgage their land to them.
As a result, the decline of agricultural activity started to shower upon Europe.
Thus it was necessary for the Europeans to import Crops & foods from other nation.
So the India provided helping hand to European Nation thus supplying them with foods & Crops.
