Indian rulers and prince , before the arrival of British ruled their territory as they wished. But, after the arrival of British, they began interfaring in their rule (Bengal) . Eventually, they even started rolling over the king's, and demanded them to pay taxes to have control over their area-or just give up the whole territory. They fought wars, and princes and rulers stood no chance against them,... as British were technologically advanced .
