Our society is a patriarchal society. It means male dominance is felt everywhere. One must understand that women are also playing a vital role in our economy. But thus fat is been neglected due to our wrong assumptions and trivial methods of thinking. Social taboos which include taboos regarding their periods...strength ..etc are all with women. They are not considered equal for some reason which has no scientific basis

  • Womens were the most oppressed class.
  • They are totally dependent on men .
  • Their social position is very low in the society.
  • So social taboos hindered them.

Hope it helps!
