why were nations Portrayed as female figures ? Explain with the help of 2 suitable reasons?

The nation was said to be depicted as female figures because there is motherhood in a woman. She can understand everyone's problem. The concept of nation is also similar. All the people living within the nation are equal. The woman also considers all her children as a mother.

The nation was chosen to be the metaphor of the woman as a mother. Because only a mother considers her child equal and all the people living in the nation are also equal.

The woman, which was initially depicted as a form of the nation, did not represent a specific woman, but this woman figure became an allegory of the nation.

For example, in France the woman whose figure was chosen was named Marion. Similarly in German a woman named Germania became a metaphor for the nation.

In India, Bharat Mata is presented as a nation.
