Indian agriculture had a phenomenal growth in the early  9000 BCE due to the practice of cultivation of land by cropping and rooting of plants.

At the same time domestication of crops and animals also initiated.

As no idea of irrigation was known, cropping pattern was totally dependent on rainfall.

So, the peasants were dependent on rainfall for farming... Settled life soon progressed and implemented and new techniques ware adopted for agriculture.

Due to double monsoons, provided the advantage of double harvests in one year.

Indian products soon gained the reputation globally and exported to the world via trading networks available then.
