1)The British felt that all the important letters and document must be carefully preserved so they setup record room attached administrative institutions and administrative institution such as achieveand Museum were also established for preserving records.

2)those official records of British administrative officers and government department are the most important source to learn about History ;they clearly wrote down every plan

instruction ,policy, decision ,agreement and investigation.
