socialist such as Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels ...believed private property aas the roots of social ills bcez all the profit earnwd by the company (private properties) or the owners of the company was all due to the working of the labours ...in about many numbers but the property belonged just to one person or grp ...hence the workers couldnt get the whole profit ...the most of the profit was shared among the company owners and less was given to the workers and this was the reason behind the socialist against the private property

Socialts aim was overall development by means of co-operative administration of the nation. 3. If the society collectively owned the property then more attention would be paid to collective common problems. 4. Thus the ownership of private property gave power to the workers who were exploited.
